Owns Horse(s)? Yes. I ride Jumpers, Eventing, Dressage, Polo, and Tetrathalon.
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you? It means representing a brand that has great style, class, and quality products.
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador? Riding is my passion. I thrive on the challenge that a rider has when working with an animal that can be both graceful and stubborn at the same time. I enjoy traveling to different horse shows and meeting new people and learning something new every time. This year I have really enjoyed pony jumpers in Zone 2. The girls I have met are so nice and supportive that we forget we are competing, and just have fun together. Everyone cheers for each other and that is the best feeling. Pony Club has given me the opportunity to be a mentor to my fellow members. I am very proud of obtaining my C2/HB rating, this took lots of hard work and dedication. I soon hope to achieve the highest horse management rating of an HA.
What is your connection to Kerrits? I am proud to say that at the age of 4, I wore the cutest Kerrits tan jodhpurs to leadline at Devon. Perhaps they helped me win 7th place out of 50. Fast forward to summer of 2014 when I bought my first full seat white Kerrits breeches. I had saved up so that I could buy them at USPC Nationals in Lexington, Kentucky. They must have brought me more good luck because I came in first place after finishing cross country on the famous Rolex course. We went on to win Area 2 beginner Novice Championships and the top year end award. I tend to be one of those superstitious riders and only wear my white full seat Kerrits breeches.
