Owns Horse(s)? Yes
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you? Being a Kerrits Ambassador is the first step to becoming a Kerrits Team Rider. I am very passionate about polo and, with the help of sponsors, I believe I have the talent and work ethic to pursue my dream of competing and training with the best in the nation. Kerrits is particularly important to me because it is a brand made by women for women. Traditionally known as the "sport of kings," polo's biggest growth demographic is women. Still, most of the equipment and clothing are built for the male physique. I believe Kerrits can make women polo players more comfortable in the saddle and more formidable on the field.
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador? My passion is horses. They are an integral part of my life in every way. In 2012, my love for all things equestrian led to a staff writer position with www.horsenation.com. That opportunity allows me to share my love for horses and riding with thousands of readers around the world. Additionally, through social media -- Instagram @horsenista, Twitter @u_ronan -- I enjoy sharing stories and images of my riding with hundreds of followers. I also intend to start a blog to share my experiences of traveling to learn and play polo -- trips this year might include Wyoming, Florida, Arizona and Argentina -- as well as recaps of my league play as a member of the Houston Polo Club and anecdotes from my ranch in Texas where I keep my three personal horses.
What is your connection to Kerrits? My first pair of Kerrits breeches were the Flex Tight Fullseat Riding Tights. They were the first pair of breeches to comfortably fit my extra long legs and rounded hips without pinching my stomach. The stretchy, non-traditional fabric also keeps me cool during the hot Texan summers. I absolutely love them and recommend the brand to every rider I meet.
