Owns Horse(s)? Yes.
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you? All of my riding pants are currently Kerrits. They have lasted longer than any other brand I have owned; the quality cannot be matched. I would love the opportunity to share the brand with my friends, family, and over seven thousand Instagram followers who share my love and passion of riding. Not only are Kerrits perfect for all weathers, but they are very fashionable. My summer Kerrits keep me cool and cute, and my winter fleece lined Kerrits keep me warm and comfortable. The values of this company our similar to my own. As an equestrian, I know the value of the great outdoors, and realize how fragile our environment is. Purchasing and using green products by Kerrits allows me to help the environment, and preserve our earth for generations of equestrians to come.
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador? Ever since I was a little girl, riding was my passion. Unfortunately, I could never afford a horse of my own, and therefore was not able to ride as much as I would have liked. However, through hard work and dedication, I was given the opportunity to care for and ride two horses at my barn. I have had to work to achieve my riding goals, and to this day continue to work extremely hard. Without riding, I am not myself. The best feeling in the world is being in the saddle. Galloping through fields, trotting down the long side, and flying over jumps are some of my favorite things. But being an equestrian stretches far beyond an hour a day in the saddle. Being a true equestrian means grooming, wrapping, tacking up, and mucking out. Kerrits help me to be the equestrian I am through a comfortable fit, stain resistance, and durability. I hope to share my passion for riding, and love for this brand through the opportunity of becoming a Kerrits Ambassador.
What is your connection to Kerrits? My first pair of Kerrits were black with houndstooth detailing. I spotted them across the room at my local Dover and knew I had to have them. It was only a matter of time until I began buying more Kerrits: a pair for show, and a fleece lined pair for winter. Kerrits are one of the few brands of pants that fit me properly. I am on the petite side, so many pants are too big, too long, or too short.
My Kerrits continue to be the only riding pants I own that have not ripped on the knees or in the crotch. They are durable, and comfortable. They look great with sweaters, polos, or even the t-shirts I wear on the occasional days that I am too lazy to get dressed.
I wish more brands would make a green commitment. I don't want my love of riding to ever prevent another person from discovering their love of riding because all the horses are sick, or because the air on our planet cannot be inhaled. Kerrits looks out for the horse, the rider, and our worldwide community.
