Owns Horse(s)? Yes
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you? I would love to be a Kerrits Ambassador because I absolutely love their products and the jodhpurs are definitely my favourites. Competing 2-3 times a month and attending Barwon Heads Pony Club I would promote the brand regularly on the Showjumping and Eventing circuits. I compete across Australia in EA Official, Open, Pony Club and Interschool events so my Kerrits certainly get some use! I would absolutely love to further support the Kerrits brand and would be very proud to represent them.
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador? In the future I hope to keep competing my two super jumping ponies Snickers Satisfies and Fudge across Australia. Despite their small size, they are both currently competing Pre Novice (EA105) eventing and showjumping competitively over 1m. As a reigning State Showjumping champion since 2012, I am aiming to win my 5th consecutive title and qualify to represent Victoria and the Interschool Nationals again next year. The 2015 Australian Showjumping Championships was a very successful show for me, taking home a record x2 wins, x3 seconds and a third in all my open classes of over 100+ riders. Finishing the event as the best performed rider in ring 7 was a huge milestone as I was certainly one of the youngest riders and on two super ponies. I have also recently qualified both horses for the 2016 Pony Club Victoria State Championships for Eventing and Showjumping so I have a busy schedule coming up! I hope to one day represent Australia and of course ride in the Olympics in either Showjumping or Eventing.
What is your connection to Kerrits? I first discovered Kerrits while competing at the 2014 Australian Showjumping Championships in the trade stands at Werribee Park. I fell in love with all the Kerrits products immediately and especially the jodhpurs. I have navy joddies for home and white competition ones which I never take off. I wear them everywhere and they are super comfortable. They are the best to ride in because they're super sticky and grippy to the saddle for jumping. I wear them at every opportunity and they are definitely my favourites!!!
