Owns Horse(s)? Yes
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you? Ever since I was on the lunge line ten years ago Kerrits have always been my favorite breeches. They were my first pair of riding pants and now I own at least ten pairs. My trainer and I used to always get the same pair as each other so we could match (we were very close), but recently she had to move so if I were an ambassador it would be a way for me to still feel close to her.
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador? As a rider I really just want to bring out the best in my horses. I try to show them in what makes them happiest, not necessarily what my favorite is or what I'm best at. I'm currently showing at local and rated shows. On the circuits I am showing a 12.2 hand pony in the 2' hunters, my pony in the 3' jumpers and I just recently started riding a new horse which I'll be showing in the low childrens jumpers. I mainly just want to have fun with riding and the horses while still being competitive and showing. Even though I'm very competitive and love to win, having fun and being with my horse is the most important thing to me.
What is your connection to Kerrits? When I was five I received riding lessons for Christmas. I was so so happy. I got a pink pair of riding tights which happened to be Kerrits, and ever since then they have always been my go to brand of breeches, because in a way it was how all of this got really started for me. They were the first brand I ever knew so naturally they became my all time favorite, and continue to be my favorites.
