Owns Horse(s)? Yes
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you? Being a Kerrits Ambassador means accomplishing my dreams and spreading the word not only about this amazing company but also about riding. I would love the opportunity to spread the world about a company who believes and supports the same beliefs that I do.
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador? I have been passionate about riding for as long as I can remember. I always loved visiting stables, reading books and watching television shows and movies about horses. There is always something new to learn. At the age of 10, I discovered Eventing and and my goal was set -I would work to compete at Young Riders. I set my course and along the way invited friends to the barn with me. Several of them became passionate riders also and we've spent many hours working together since. I love teaching people what I have learned and continuing to learn myself. I would love the opportunity to represent a company whose products I frequently use and who supports Young Riders all over.
What is your connection to Kerrits? I have been using Kerrits products ever since I first started riding when I was just 4 years old- my parents loved the inexpensive items to help me get started. Then when I bought my mare from Sharon White I was reintroduced to the Kerrits brand, as she is one of your team riders. I was amazed at how cool and comfortable Sharon and all her workers stayed despite the immense heat. This summer, I made my way down to VA to train with both Sharon and Tim Bourke. The more time I spent at LFF, the more interest I got in the Kerrits brand so I bought some long sleeve and short sleeve shirts and breeches, I have since expanded and purchased more items; all of which I love.
