Hunter/Jumper

Discipline? I ride Hunter/Jumper. I do the 2' 6" jumpers and the 2' 3" equitation and hunters.

What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you? I think that it would be amazing to be a Kerrits Ambassador because I LOVE all of Kerrits' products. I have the Competitor's Koat. I bought it in a medium but then I got in shape, so now it is too big. I'm saving up for a new one. I have the Flex Tight II in shale and tan, they are my favorite for the jumpers! I also have the Cross Over Knee Patch Riding Breech which I use for my hunters and equitation classes.

What are your passions as a rider and ambassador? I love riding. I started riding when I was 4 (I am 13 now). I would hop on an old off-the-track thoroughbred named George. There was also a pony I rode named Mork. I didn't start seriously riding until I was 11. Then, I leased a pony named American Pie. He's a star at the jumpers. This year, I had to move up. I am 5' 5" with long legs, so it is hard for me to do well in equitation without a larger horse. I now lease a horse named Buddy. He is a 16.1hh bay Appendix. I love Buddy. He is a challenge for me (very different from a pony!) but I enjoy the challenge. It makes life interesting. He has a very bouncy canter and your Flex Tight II has a nice grip which helps me find my balance.

What is your connection to Kerrits? I got my first pair of pants from Kerrits 3 years ago. I was at my local tack shop, Tony's Tack, and I had tried on many brands of pants, from Tailored Sportsman to TuffRider. Plenty of them were fitting me, but they didn't feel right. They were scratchy and uncomfortable. Then, I tried on a pair of Kerrits Flex Tight II. They were so comfortable and fit me perfectly! Ever since they, I have been wearing Kerrits' products because they are comfortable and well fitting. I also love wearing your Crossover Knee Patch Riding Breech because they have timeless elegance. They look like classics pants and I love it!
