Owns Horse(s)? Yes

What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you? Being a Kerrits Ambassador means sharing a love of horses with style, comfort and safety.  It means sharing the love with kids who are just discovering they are horse crazy and teaching respect.

What are your passions as a rider and ambassador? My passion as a rider and ambassador is to teach safety and helmet awareness.  I personally would not be here if it was not for my helmet.  My horse threw me off and actually stepped on my head.  I still have that helmet and show it to kids whenever I teach lessons about the importance of safety.

My other passion is to rescue.  My horse was a rescue who was so damaged that his feet were turned inwards and he had no hair anywhere on his body due to infections.  I worked with him for 10 years and now he's a second level dressage horse with a heart of gold.

What is your connection to Kerrits? Kerrits were the first brand of breeches I ever owned and the only ones since.  I have a few pair of fun colored tights and many full seat breeches.  Everyone always asks me where they are from because they are so durable and flattering on every figure.  I also tell them about the company and how it was started from basically nothing. I love that the company is so focused on the horsemanship between woman and their horses.
