Owns Horse(s)? Yes
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you? Being a Kerrits Ambassador would allow me to more efficiently tell other people how wonderful your brand is. If I was chosen I have a wide circle of equestrian friends to network to about your product. I would feel like I'm helping giving back to our horse community more. With every purchase I encouraged people to make I made another small donation to ECLR through them. Helping our equine friends keep their land is very important to all of us equestrians and I feel if more people knew about it they would be more inclined to purchase Kerrits so I would make it my mission to help people seek out this information!
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador? My passion as a rider are to become the best I can be. I show in area one events at the novice level and have competed at the American Eventing Championship. I have done my horses training myself with the help of lessons of course. I believe it to be a huge accomplishment to say I have done her training as I have taken her from an underweight abused school horse to a perfect event horse who is slowing climbing up the levels! For our 2015 season I am moving to a new trainer to continue our journey of moving up level to level with our hopes to end this year going training level. As an ambassador I want to show people you do not need to spend upwards of $300 on a pair of breeches to have great quality, fit and style. I have never come from money and work at the my barn with all the free time I have to help pay for my horse. Its important to me to show other people they too can have a successful riding career and not break the bank doing it.
What is your connection to Kerrits? My first Kerrits apparel was a show shirt I got in the Dover Saddlery basement when I first started showing a local schooling events. That was about six years ago and I still wear the same exact shirt today (pictured in my profile picture). As the years went on I knew it was a brand of great quality and fit me perfectly. As for your company, when I learned you are part of the 1% for the planet if I wasn't sure enough I knew this was the brand I wanted to be a part of. I am always looking for company to help that are trying to give back to the environment, I'm even part of TD bank! ELCR is a wonderful idea that I learned about through Kerrits and for that I'm grateful! I also have to admit I love the kerrit seeds attached to the items, although I have no pictures I used to plant them in my grandfathers garden with him, Kerrits has been apart of making great memories with my grandfather.
