Owns Horse(s)? Yes

What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you? I have had the fun and pleasure of being a Kerrits Ambassador for two years.  It has been very rewarding to share my passion for the Kerrits line of clothing with my barn friends and my friends in the Eventing community here in Michigan. The word, Ambassador has several meanings to me--It is such a positive word...it means sharing all of the positive attributes about something.  It also means sharing goodwill. As a Kerrits Ambassador, it is my pleasure to share all of the positive attributes about Kerrits apparel. In the process of doing that, I hope I am also spreading goodwill, so people will be  encouraged to try Kerrits clothing.

What are your passions as a rider and ambassador? My passions as a rider are to grow and nurture the best and happiest relationship, partnership and friendship that I possibly can with each of our horses. They are such immense blessings and joys in our lives, and give us such wonderful gifts with their trust and loyalty. It is a joy to be with them, a thrill to ride them, and an honor to be a part of their lives. As an Ambassador, I hope to continue to share the 'comfort and joy' of wearing and riding in Kerrits apparel.

What is your connection to Kerrits? I was first introduced to the Kerrits line of riding apparel many years ago, when I was looking for comfortable, good-fitting riding breeches, and a friend let me try hers on, and I was 'hooked' so to speak!  I had tried other lines, but found the Kerrits riding pants to be the most comfortable. I always enjoy the pretty, graphic T-shirts.  My MOST favorite design, however, was the horse 'tattoo' design Kerrits had on their parkas, 1/4 Zip fleece pullovers, and even on the Kerrits base layer shirts and knicker-style pants.  A quick amusing story:  I was given a plaid Coach's Coat by my husband for Christmas one year, and I was thrilled to receive it.  We went to the Rolex 3-Day Event in the Kentucky Horse Park in April of the following year.  It rained almost the entire time we were there.  I lost count of all of the wonderful compliments I received on my Kerrits Coach's Coat. Not only did it come in very handy at Rolex that year, but my young daughter, at the time said: "Mom you are SO stylin'". It definitely made me smile and I stayed DRY!  I became interested in the Kerrits story, because my husband and I were born and raised in Seattle, WA.  I was delighted to find out that Kerrits started in the Pacific Northwest, and it was great to read about the company's beginnings and how it has evolved...
