Eventing

Owns Horse(s)? Yes. I event.  I also compete in dressage and show jumping, which helps to further establish my skills for eventing.

What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you? Being a Kerrits Ambassador would mean so much to me.  I love the fact that everything this brand makes is comfortable, functional, and flattering.
I also think that it's incredible that Kerrits is able to be so environmentally friendly, both in the office and in the fabrics used to make the clothes.  Additionally, Kerrits gives back to the Equestrian Land Conservation Resource.  Given that I have been striving to be more environmentally friendly from a young age, I would be proud to tell everyone I know that I am a Kerrits Ambassador!
As an ambassador for Kerrits, I promise to get more pictures of me riding with all of my Kerrits gear on, so that I can promote the brand on social media as well as in real life!

What are your passions as a rider and ambassador? My number one passion is riding.  Everything I do, I do to harness my craft.  I ride as many different horses as I can, because each horse has something different to teach.  I work countless hours in barns to improve my horsemanship skills, not for the money.  I go to the gym in order to make my body stronger, so that I can continue to improve and be a better rider.  My work ethic does not falter, and I don't think it ever will.  As a rider, I love the feeling when the horse finally understands something that we have been working on.  I love feeling as though we are moving in unison, as one being.  I love galloping through the finish line after a sweet cross country ride.  I love how careful the horse can be as he soars over the jumps in the stadium.  I just love to ride.
Being an ambassador for Kerrits would mean looking fantastic and feeling comfortable while riding in lessons, clinics, and shows.  It would mean supporting this awesome company while doing what I love most, so that they can continue to make the best clothes for other equestrians like me.

What is your connection to Kerrits? I remember my first pair of Kerrits breeches.  I bought them during my first winter as a rider.  They were winter breeches, and they were so warm and comfortable that now, eight years later, I will only wear breeches made by Kerrits!  They are by far the best breeches to wear during the cold Canadian winters, and in the summer, the lighter breeches keep me cool.  They also last so much longer than other brands!  As someone who rides up to four or five horses a day, I need clothes that can last, and Kerrits always do.  The shirts are great in the summer too, and they are always my first choice when riding in clinics or schooling shows.  The vests and the sweaters are always my favourite things to wear during the winter, too.  I just love how comfortable, functional, and flattering this brand is!
As I was reading through the Kerrits website, I noticed that they are very environmentally friendly, and strive to make the quality of the clothes the best it can be.  I read further and found the ambassador program, and I have heard some of my friends at the barn talking about it as well.  I thought about how incredible it would be to have the opportunity to represent this company, and now here I am!
