Owns Horse(s)? Yes. I currently train in Dressage however hope to Event and Show Jump in the future as I have done previously.
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you? Being a Kerrits Ambassador means having the ability to promote a range of excellent products which I truly love as well as promoting a safe and enjoyable riding lifestyle.
A Kerrits Ambassador must embody a positive, safe and sensible image through the use of the the Kerrits brand whilst also being able to show others the truly unique experience of equestrian sports and the comfort and technical innovation which the Kerrits products add to it. Someone who is approachable and able to easily provide information regarding products, sizing and technical information with passion and pride.
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador? As a horse rider of 9 years, I hold the responsibility of keeping a happy and healthy horse in a safe and encouraging working environment. My passion for horses blossomed after a trail ride when I was 9 years old and has continued to grow ever since. Over the years I have ridden many horses and gained experience in the disciplines of Dressage, Eventing, Show Jumping and Pony Club however my passion truly lies with the workmanship and training of young horses and preparing them for a performance lifestyle. After competing in 2 seasons of Show Jumping with my lease horse, I purchased 3 year old Thoroughbred, 'Hugo' as a breaker. In the past year we have gone from strength to strength and plan to debut into the competitive dressage world this year before seeing if Hugo has the ability to be competitive in Show Jumping and Eventing.
I also have a passion for sharing my riding story, experiences and recommendations with a social media base of nearly 10,000 subscribers and followers on the platforms of Youtube, Instagram and Tumblr. I am honoured to be able to share the best quality and most affordable products to the world in this way. Being a small and difficult to fit rider, the Kerrits breeches are 1 of only 4 brands across the Australian, American and European markets which fit correctly and are truly comfortable to ride in.
In the future I plan to make a life in the area of breeding and training performance ponies to help others and the younger generation to find the passion in riding and horsemanship which I have had the privilege of finding. It would also be my honour to do this in conjunction with Kerrits Performance Equestrian Apparel and ensure the comfort of myself and others for many years to come.
What is your connection to Kerrits? I purchased my first pair of Kerrits, the 'Kids Performance Riding Tight' in black, after seeing an online advertisement. I was immediately drawn to the seamless and stylish look of the breeches and riding tops and further inspired after reading countless positive reviews. The fact that the Kerrits breeches also came in childs sizes really was the icing on the cake and it's safe to say from the very first wear, I was hooked!
My obsession with the Kerrits products only grew as I read about the passion and dedication which took a single inspiring woman to create a brand which is now fostered by a team of over 20 who work together to fulfil the needs of equestrians all over the world.
