Owns Horse(s)? Yes

What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you? Being comfortable is really important to me, and Kerrits makes the most comfortable equestrian apparel out there! From the show ring, to schooling, trail riding or teaching I am always comfortable when I am wearing clothes from Kerrits! Environmental responsibility is also really important to me, and I really appreciate that Kerrits has also made that a priority in their company. Also, Kerrits clothes are durable and affordable. I wear my Kerrits breeches 6 days a week and they last for years!

What are your passions as a rider and ambassador? Horses have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. The silent lessons that they teach us each and every day, I have found invaluable throughout all aspects of my life. Being around horses and riding have always been my passion, but somewhere along the line teaching riding and horsemanship also became a passion. There is nothing better than getting to share the love of horses with others. I now work as a therapeutic riding instructor and get to work with people of all abilities. Life-long learning is also something that is very important to me, so I take every opportunity I can to learn more about horses and different disciplines.  It has been an amazing ride!

What is your connection to Kerrits? When I was a young girl my mom bought this really cute Kerrits fleece vest that had a horse print on it. I always loved that vest and wished I had my own. Well, now at least 14 years later my mom has passed that vest down to me. I wear it all the time, and it always reminds me of the connection my mom and I share with horses. It always brings a smile to my face.
