Owns Horse(s)? Yes

What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you?  Sometimes I feel as if I am already a Kerrits Ambassador grin  I encourage all of my friends and barn mates to try a pair and I believe that like me, they will never wear another brand again.  I believe whole heartedly in the quality and comfort of Kerrits and wear them both summer and winter.  I am deeply loyal to the Flow Rise, and was so happy when the Fleece Flow Rise came out last year.  Before that, I was wearing two pairs of my summer Flow Rise to stay warm in the cold winter months.

What are your passions as a rider and ambassador? I have loved horses my entire life.  Riding for me started around the age of 10 at summer camp - oh if only we could only do that as adults - all day at the barn learning about breeds, colours, points of the horse, cleaning tack...  Coming home dirty, smelly, and oh so tired but ready to start again the next day.  I think I even happily did homework much to my parent's surprise.  At the age of 22 I leased my first horse, and a few years later when the owner moved away, I bought her as by then I was far too attached to let her go.  A few years after that first mare passed, I went on what felt like the longest horse shopping trip in the world.  I finally bought a 2 1/2 year old Hanoverian gelding and together we are still learning and enjoying every day and every ride.

What is your connection to Kerrits? I had always purchased rather inexpensive breeches as I felt they didn't last that long, and there couldn't possibly be much of a difference.  A friend at the barn was wearing a dark pair of breeches on one of those sweltering days in the summer and yet she seemed comfortable.  I asked about her breeches and she raved about Kerrits.  She swore by them and said that even though they were a bit more than what I had been spending, it would be worth it and they would last longer.  Well, I went to Greenhawk that week, and asked about this brand called "Kerrits."  I came home with a pair, and that first pair lasted almost four years.  Of course after about a month in them, I had to get another pair as I couldn't bear the old brand anymore and one pair just wasn't enough.  Since then, I have also discovered the Venti shirt and I love it as much.
