Owns Horse(s)? Yes
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you? I truly believe Kerrits is the best equestrian apparel brand out there. Im a big apparel tech junkie and am always preaching Kerrits use of stretch wovens. When you look good, you feel good, and therefore you ride with confidence, which we all know is sometimes the only thing that matters. I love the quality of the clothing you offer and the different levels of comfort and performance throughout every season's line. Plus, when I'm wearing Kerrits, I have never been embarrassed to walk into the grocery or mall after a hard day at the barn; "look good, you feel good, shop good?"
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador? Tsavo came into my life in the end of December ’13, its been an incredibly challenging and rewarding experience. Every time we ride we have an epiphany and our bond has appropriately been called “dynamic energy." It's something I wouldn’t trade for the world. Each season we have a new goal, last winter: trot poles in a group setting, this fall: recognized BN, and now hoping to compete at a rated Novice in Spring 2015. Look for us competing (in our Cross Over Breeches) and smiling around area 2!
Im on a competitive eventing team made up of some pretty rock star ladies ranging ages 12-50. All of them live and breath eventing and its amazing to call them team mates. I already promote Kerrits almost every time I ride and feel I'm in the perfect environment as a team mate and lower level eventer with big dreams to continue supporting and cheering on such a great brand!
What is your connection to Kerrits? 1. Tsavo and I are truly just starting to get the whole ''dressage" part of eventing down. Our first dressage show together was back in February and it was anything less than entertaining, it took us 5 minutes to halt.... at K. He was nervous, I was nervous, and the judge was amused. Her final comments were, "Well, you didn't kill anyone and you have kept your entire look (Kerrits Koat & white Cross Over Breeches) spotless, so we will call it a victory."
2. I’ve lived in an apartment without a deck or window box ever since I started eventing. I was delighted and bummed when I bought my first pair of Kerrits breeches, great fit, great product, and so many seeds but so little growing space.
So for the past two some years I’ve been stock piling my little seed maracas (yes, I buy a lot of Kerrits product) for the one hopeful day I could plant these puppies. Welp, the time has finally come and I’m moving next week to a place with a yard and a back deck! I cannot wait to start my mini Kerrits/Carrot forest! Photos to follow!
