Owns Horse(s)? Yes. My primary discipline of riding is eventing, but recently I have entered in a recognized dressage show and I am looking forward to it! I am also an active pony clubber.
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you? Being a Kerrits ambassador to me means looking great in Kerrits' fine clothing at home or away. I know that when I ride in Kerrits clothing, whether it is at home or away, I have confidence that I look good. It means taking pictures of myself and my equestrian friends in the clothing and posting it on social media, to promote myself and the product. If I were to become an ambassador, I would promote the product everywhere I went, whether that be a pony club rally, a horse trial, a dressage show or a group trail ride, I would speak proudly about the product. Being a Kerrits ambassador means to me that I have to proudly share with friends and fellow equestrians the product I am wearing. If I were to become a Kerrits ambassador, I would happily wear the product whether at home or away and further the success of Kerrits.
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador? My passion as an ambassador is striving to help others. I know that to be at the peak of my performance, I need to be riding in clothes that will help me do that. If I were to be an ambassador, I would proudly show off my Kerrits clothes. By showing off the clothes, I could help people realize how Kerrits can help them and will help them get to their top performance levels. My passion as a rider is true horsemanship. By having a good, trusting relationship with my horse, we can work well together to achieve our goals. My true passion is the sport of eventing. I believe that eventing is the epitome of horsemanship. From galloping cross-country, to icing and wrapping afterwards, I love it all. The trust needed to approach a drop, or jump into water is wild. The love that the horse rewards you with afterwards when you are doing maintenance, just feels like no other feeling. My passion as a rider and ambassador is fueled by Kerrits. Kerrits help me ride that clear round, and I want to give back to them by becoming an ambassador.
What is your connection to Kerrits? My first experience with Kerrits is one I will never forget. When I was five years old, my mother bought me my first pony. He was a chocolate palomino who stood proudly at 11.1 with a crazy mane and a sweet heart. Within just a few months of him being in my life and slowly but surely learning how to ride, my trainer took me to my first horse show. All leading up to the event, I had been riding in hand-me-down clothing, and the only thing I had that was mine was a purple and pink GPA helmet. The weekend before the event, my mom and I made a trip to our local Dover and went on a bit of a shopping spree. I got a new pair of tan Kerrits breeches, a Kerrits blue and white floral shirt and a white show shirt. The next weekend I went to the event and felt like a little rockstar in all of my stunning Kerrits gear. By the end of the season we were cantering around a twelve inch cross-country together. From there, I have continued to love riding in your clothing. My favorite product to date are the breeches with the blue patch on them. Blue is my eventing color, and I like to think I make cross-country look like a runway when I strut them!
