How often do you ride? 5-7 Days a Week

What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you? I am interested in being a Kerrits ambassador primarily because I LOVE the product and would like to further my knowledge with riding apparel. I am big on horses, and fashion, and feel that this would be an awesome way for me to be able participate in two things I love at the same time :0)

What are your passions as a rider and ambassador? I have a lot of goals that I hope to accomplish in the near future, but as far as my equestrian goals, I hope to compete through the upper levels of Eventing. I would like to make a career out of taking horses off of the track and training them in Dressage and Eventing or whatever discipline suits the horse. As much as I love horses, I do have the goal of completing college and getting a degree in marketing as well as opening a boutique that sells high end clothing as well as equestrian apparel and accessories. I feel this would be a unique opportunity to be exposed to equestrian clothing and other products that could help me understand more about equestrian apparel.

What is your connection to Kerrits? My special Kerrits story involves a pair of breeches that I got as a gift from my mom, who passed away four years ago. I’ve been in love with horses since I wasn’t even walking, and I grew up riding bareback or western. I always rode in jeans, so when I switched to riding English (which I didn’t want to do at first), my mom surprised me with a pair of charcoal colored Kerrits knee-patch breeches. They were the only pair I owned for a long time, and they held up like no other. I wore them at least three times a week for a couple of years; they never tore or began to look worn and old. One time, I wanted to race my horse around the outdoor arena and pretend I was a jockey (something you probably shouldn’t do if your horse is green and off the track). Well, long story short, I fell off and tore the backside of my breeches. I was embarrassed that I fell off, but I think I was more upset that I tore my favorite pair of breeches that happened to be made by Kerrits.

The other thing that I would like to mention about Kerrits is that they have product for every season. I work at two barns, board my horses at a third barn, and work as a nanny in the evenings. I wear breeches 7 days a week, almost 365 days a year. I have found that Kerrits has a product for every season, and a product that is comfortable and well-made to be worn all day, every day for an active rider :0)
