Ambassador: BEATRICE SCHUTTE
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you?
To me, being a Kerrits Ambassador, means representing one of the most progressive and well known equestrian suppliers. I would be honored to be an ambassador of the brand that makes me feel cool, comfortable, and confident. Being an ambassador of Kerrits would mean highlighting the qualities that many equestrians look for in products. There is no question that Kerrits is my favorite riding apparel brand and that it would be easy to show that off. I have a passion for horses and I would have a passion representing Kerrits. Knowing Knowing Kerrits' reputation, I will have to work hard to be an exemplary rep at the barn, in the show area, and at the riding camps that I attend. I understand that being a Kerrits Ambassador is a serious undertaking and I would work hard to represent the brand in a way that would make Kerrits proud.
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador?
As a rider and ambassador I have many goals. As far as riding, my long term goals are to ride in the Olympics in show jumping and compete in the Rolex Three Day Event. I am ambitious! I have a lot of work to get there but I know with hard work and enthusiasm, I can do it. When wearing Kerrits, I feel like I can do anything including competing in, not only jumping, but also grand prix level dressage competitions. In the short term, I am hopeful that I continue to learn every time I ride, about myself, and my pony. I am also hopeful that I continue to strengthen the trust and friendship that my pony and I share. For me, that's really what it's all about, going out there every ride, working hard and learning a lot. Above all, I want to continue to enjoy myself, even after a tough ride. My goals as an ambassador are to offer feedback on the clothing line, it's comfort and construction, and share the product and my enthusiasm with others. I think that if I feel and look confident in my Kerrits, then others will want to know my secret! Being a Kerrits ambassador would allow me to show off the best of what the brand has to offer...showing girls and woman that they can be amazing athletes and horsewomen.
What is your connection to Kerrits?
I first learned about Kerrits Horse Apparel, when I was about 6. Our local tack shop recommended a pair of Kerrits riding tights to my mom and I wore them for some of my first lessons. Since then I have insisted on wearing there shirts and pants because of there style and how comfortable they are. During the summer I particularly like Kerrits Kids' Performance Riding Tights because there so comfortable and keep me cool! I recently learned how Kerrits started and it's story inspires me. It shows that you don't need a lot of money to follow your dream and be successful in what you love. Sponsoring Kerrits will be an amazing opportunity and I can't wait to begin.
