Ambassador: AMIE FONDER
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you?
I would like to support and promote products that I believe in. While I only own a couple of Kerrits products (and have even fewer pictures of me riding in them), I have enjoyed the comfort and durability of the brand. As Dublin and I move into our competition career, we would like to become brand ambassadors for the products we have tested and love. Hopefully, along the way, we can try some new products and give feedback to help improve the design of Kerrits clothing.
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador?
Having a solid connection with my horse is my greatest goal in riding. I strive to ride in a way that is biomechanically friendly for my horse, and allows him to achieve his best under saddle. Being comfortable in the gear we ride in is important in helping to achieve biomechanical stability. I have found the Kerrits apparel to be both comfortable and durable to the test of time.
This coming year, I hope to successfully complete a starter event with my OTTB, Dublin, and compete in recognized dressage shows. I want us to continue to grow in our partnership, and have fun doing it. Dublin's goals remain the same: Increase carrot consumption and take naps in the sun.
My goal as an ambassador for Kerrits is to demonstrate the versatility of the brand. I post frequently to social media pages such as Facebook and Instagram, and I also produce freelance articles for media outlets such as Horse Network. I would like to utilize my following to help promote the Kerrits brand.
What is your connection to Kerrits?
As a newer horse owner, much of my "horse budget" has been spent on buying the essentials - riding boots, saddle, bridle, winter blankets, etc. I have only bought a few products for "fun" for me. One of the essentials that I purchased last winter was a pair of the Sit Tight and Warm breeches by Kerrits. They are my favorite breeches and are warm and comfortable. I also own a splurge item from Kerrits - one of the beautiful fall sweaters. I hope to expand my collection and add some summer items this year.
