Ambassador: GABBY STRUTIN
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you?
Being a Kerrits Ambassador means so much in my eyes. It's not about your level of riding, it's about dedication. Ambassadors are supposed to support and inspire. If I am chosen to be a Kerrits Ambassador I will spread inspiration, joy, support, and tips to my peers and anyone in need of help. I would love to be available to anyone to ask my for help or rant about anything, and I will be there to listen and to be a helping hand. I want to inspire riders to keep trying and be patient, and most of all, to build on to our lovely equestrian community and make a difference in how people see themselves. Everyone should be confident in their own skin and I will try to convey that amongst everyone I can get in touch with. Being a Kerrits Ambassador isn't about the money or the products, it's about creating a welcoming community environment to inspire and support anyone in need of help, and to show that anything is possible. Although of course, Kerrits is such an amazing brand and it should be shared with the world how much this company affects the lives of many. I love the idea of the carrot seeds that come with your products, it promotes keeping the environment healthy and alive by planting and growing resources.!
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador?
My passion as a rider is training green horses and creating bonds with equine and people that are too strong to ever be broken. The joy that you feel when you finish off a green horse and know that all of the hard work you put into their training has paid off. I would also like to promoted horse rescue and adoption, after all the ones who really need homes aren't all fancy warmbloods, they are horses of all breeds that can turn out to be a talented ride that can take you far, and the best friend you will ever have. I believe in equality amongst people and animals, and I have a goal to stop animal abuse in the US as fast as I can, and soon everywhere else in the world too. My goal is to make a difference on the equine world for the better.
What is your connection to Kerrits?
When I first started riding about tree and a half years ago, I had no idea what I was doing. I asked around at my barn for brands and supply ideas, all of which recommended Kerrit products. However, they never mentioned anything about your message or the importance of your mission. I heard lots about how sufficient the brand is, how the quality is fantastic and the variety is impeccable, as well as their prices are affordable. I would love to enforce these ideas, but I also want to make sure that people who buy Kerrits products know that they are making a good choice because of how they are affecting the world. Every purchase counts towards another horse saved, or another rescue able to buy their feed for the month. I want to promote products, while also promoting Kerrits mission and my passion for saving animals and equine all over the world.
