Ambassador: IRIS PAN
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you?
I would love to be a Kerrits Ambassador because when I'm in Kerrits products I feel like a more confident rider. I don't have to worry that my breeches or shirts will get torn after a hard fall or will attract endless bouts of horse hair because of the excellent quality. The look of every product looks amazing, so even when I don't look as so, I can count on my clothing to help me look presentable. As an Ambassador, I would love to be able to spread the comfort and wondrous quality of Kerrits' products so that others can have the same awesome experiences as I have had. I still have my first pair of riding pants which are going strong after five years. The durability is something that I feel all riders should know about! I hope that I will get the chance to be able to help people make their first exciting riding accomplishments in fantastic clothing.
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador?
I'm deeply passionate about everything equestrian and would love to pursue those passions while supporting Kerrits every step (and stride!) of the way. Riding is the highlight of my week. I'm always willing to work hard to master the next dressage skill and the next height for jumping. Kerrits make sure I'm comfortable and able to perform difficult movements. They also help to cool in triple digit temperatures. On the weekends, I volunteer 8 to 9 hour days at the barn to make sure that avid riders learn how to correctly groom and tack their horses as well as other aspects of horsemanship. Kerrits products make sure I can do my job well while feeling cool in the summer and warm in the winter. I am currently striving towards showing more often and finding a forever horse companion. As a Kerrits Ambassador, I would certainly help to spread the brand so that others can get to know how wonderful Kerrits products are.
What is your connection to Kerrits?
About five years ago, I started riding. I was a small 9 year old with a previously unexpressed love for horses. One week of summer camp was all I needed - I was officially hooked. Fast forward one painfully long year without horses to the next much anticipated summer. I was absolutely psyched. 6 straight weeks of equestrian summer camp lay ahead. I was prepared for the best summer of my young life - but not in thick, sweaty, ill-fitted jeans and thin-soled boots. I headed over to Dover Saddlery for my first pair of paddock boots and my first pair of breeches. I was attracted to the Kerrits riding tights because of the soft material, and I was equally amazed how breathable they felt. Kerrits breeches have carried me through my first fall, my first canter stride, my first jump and everything after because I refuse to ride in any other pants other than Kerrits.
