Ambassador: JILLIAN CAMPANELLA
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you?
To me, being a Kerrits ambassador means to me is being able to endorse a wonderful brand to other people. My barn is large community and we like to recommend and share brands with each other. One brand that me and friends always recommend to other people is Kerrits because of their durability, affordability, style, and comfort. Also, Kerrits comes in many different colors and styles to fit any type of rider. From the bold eventer to the traditional hunter, Kerrits can be for anyone. Kerrits are great and professional looking for dressage, light and durable enough for cross country, and can be low profile enough for hunter/jumpers.
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador?
Ever since I was very young, I adored horses. All I wanted to do was compete and have a partnership with a horse. I had my first lesson at the age of 6, (my entire outfit was Kerrits from my shirt down to my socks). I went to my first event at the age of 11, and it started my love for compete. I got my first horse, Aurelio, at the age of 15. I've had him for almost two years and we are competing at the Novice level. I hope to take him through the upper levels and to compete in college. Kerrits has made a huge impact on my riding career, from my first lesson to now. Kerrits is a brand for young and old, and a brand you can grow and mature with. My passions as an ambassador would be to show how versatile Kerrits can be at home, in the show ring, on the trails, etc. Kerrits can be for everyone: for a kid just starting out, a competitor in the show ring, or a trail rider.
What is your connection to Kerrits?
My first experience with the brand was when my mom signed me for my first lesson and she went to buy me some riding clothes. My mom loved the colors, range of sizes, and the low prices. I showed up to my first lesson in style with a cornflower blue Kerrits zip up shirt, gray Kerrits tights, and pink pony Kerrits socks. I wore exclusively Kerrits for a long time when I was a kid. Then I tried some other brands, but I kept coming back to Kerrits. I got interested in becoming an ambassador when my trainer was one a couple years ago. Then one of my close friends, Brooke Goodman, became an ambassador for Kerrits and told me I should become one too.
