Ambassador: KAYLA MINDEL
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you?
Being a Kerrits Ambassador means being part of the Kerrits community and sharing the quality of its items. As well as spreading the word and sharing my experience with the brand! Many people have asked me where I have gotten my breeches or shirts from and I’m always happy to share the amazing quality of Kerrits. Being an ambassador would make it easier and more exciting to spread the word.
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador?
I love the entire sport and teaching others about it. I teach younger kids everything from how to tack up to how to ride to how to take care of the horse. I sometimes get questions from the parents, or just other riders I know, about what to wear to ride and what I am wearing. I’ve gotten multiple compliments on my Icefill tights, and have already spread the word about those. I am always so happy to spread the word of what I’m wearing when I ride with other riders so that they can enjoy being comfortable and secure when they ride as well.
What is your connection to Kerrits?
All of my current breeches/riding tights are Kerrits, and I love them all. As I grew up and really understood what kind of breeches I needed, I bought Kerrits and have stuck to them since. I was thrown from a horse not too long ago, and I was wearing the tan Icefill tights. The sand in the arena is dark grey, almost black, and the tights got covered in it when I landed. I was sure they were stained, but after one wash, they were like new! No rips, no stains, it was amazing from such a hard fall in the dark sand. This just shows the amazing quality and durability, as I’ve even had them for a long time.
My shirts are also just as amazing. They fit perfect and feel amazing no matter the temperature outside. They’re comfortable and durable.
