Ambassador: KYRA LAYTON
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you?
To me being a Kerrits Ambassador does not just mean being represented by an incredible brand but also being part of the Kerrits family. Being a Kerrits Ambassador would mean so much to me. All of my riding attire is Kerrits because I just love the quality of the items yet they are not at an unreasonable price. It would mean the world to me to be chosen by such an amazing brand and I would absolutely LOVE to be able to represent such an incredible brand at shows, while I ride, and in general.
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador?
I would love to continue eventing all of my life and wear Kerrits in all three phases and outside of the ring. Being a Kerrits Ambassador I believe could help me get there.
What is your connection to Kerrits?
My very first breeches I ever owned were Kerrits breeches, along with basically all other essential clothing needed to horseback ride. This includes my first show coat, my first pair of full seat breeches (which I LOVE thanks to Kerrits), my several extremely comfortable shirts that are Kerrits brand, and much more. I have been riding since I was 5 years old and the older I got, the more interested in the Kerrits brand I became. I first was very interested in the company when I saw the little bag of carrot seeds with the tag on my breeches. I looked more into the brands history and I found it very interesting. I have always loved the idea of having carrot seeds on all tags on all Kerrits products because not only does the rider benefit but this shows the company is thinking of the other side of the partnership between human and horse, as the horse can eat the carrots.
