Ambassador: LILLIAN DEMUS
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you?
It means that I get to formally promote the brand that I wear almost every time I get on a horse. Whenever my friends ask me what brands I recommend the first one I always say is Kerrits because the products are reasonably priced and very comfortable. I believe that every equestrian deserves comfortable clothes to ride in! I have multiple blogs that I would be able to share information about Kerrits on.
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador?
My passion as a rider is to move up through the levels with my horse successfully and while also having fun and being safe. I hope to compete in the upper levels one day. My passion as an ambassador is to inform people about how Kerrits is a quality, trustworthy brand. I want to share information about Kerrits to my pony club, my friends, and my equestrian classmates. I would also share information to the clients at my family's boarding facility.
What is your connection to Kerrits?
When I was just a little kid starting to compete, I didn't have any new riding clothes. For my first show I had jodhpurs on that were at least 20 years old, a show coat that belonged to my trainer, one of my white polo shirts that I used for school performances, and dirty old work boots. Before my first horse trial, my mother took me to Wise Choice tack and there we bought my first piece of equestrian clothing which was the white short sleeve Venti shirt. I was very excited to get that shirt because I thought I looked like the real deal in it! I still have that shirt hanging in my closet along with other shirts and breeches that I have collected over the years.
For shows I almost always use the tan kneepatch crossover breech and the tan fullseat crossover breech. The kneepatch breech keeps me cool in the hot Kentucky summers. The fullseat breech really helps me stay in the saddle no matter what mood my horse is in!
