Ambassador: LYRAH THOMSON
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you?
Being a Kerrits Ambassador means sharing the dream of riding and creating a bond with a horse through awesome apparel. It is about sharing the love and passion that we have for our animals and our sport and being able to connect with new people with similar interests.
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador?
As a rider, I am currently training an OTTB. I am planning on taking him up the eventing levels. I am also riding an Arab Saddlebred x who will be going into an active retirement after the 2017 season. As an ambassador, I plan on sharing my love for the Kerrits brand along my travels, as I travel all across the province during the summer while competing. I have been riding in Kerrits clothes for over six years now, and would love the opportunity to give back to the company.
What is your connection to Kerrits?
One of my first memories of Kerrits is at the trade show at Spruce Meadows in Calgary. I entered my name in for a draw to win a coat, and surprisingly I won! I shared a picture of the gorgeous coat with Kerrits and it was posted on Facebook. Recently, I was given the opportunity to model some of the 2018 spring line at The Event at Rebecca Farm. The Kerrits brand is so incredibly welcoming and I love how real it is. Being able to work with some Kerrits representatives really connected me to the views and goals of the company.
