Ambassador: MADELEINE REISCHMAN
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you?
For me being a Kerrits ambassador is about promoting this incredible brand. During endurance races I have a great opportunity to network with other riders. I spend hours setting up, camping, and riding with other people who have the same needs and interests as I do. Besides endurance riding, I am also a teaching assistant for Beginner Horsemanship at the University of Georgia. During class, I can share my experiences with new riders and suggest the best clothes to wear for all equine sports.
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador?
My biggest passion is keeping a close connection between horse and rider. All equine sports are about teamwork and overcoming challenges together. The year my equine partner and I are training for the Tevis Cup, one of the most difficult rides in the world. We face a year of intense training and conditioning as well as logging endurance miles with the AERC. I this journey will not be possible without Kerrits products keeping me, as a rider, at my best.
What is your connection to Kerrits?
I became interested in Kerrits when I noticed they sponsored the Tevis Cup. I personally was looking for riding tights that were comfortable, lightweight, and most of all athletic. As an endurance rider, we need pants that we can not only ride in but also jump off and run alongside our horse wearing. We need gear the make the hot humid Georgia summer training rides bearable as well products with insulation for chilly winter races. Endurance riders do more than just log miles in the saddle, we camp and work alongside our equine partners. I bought my first pair of Kerrits Microcord Bootcut Knee Patch Breeches and fell in love. They have been everything I could want in riding pants and easily the best pair I have owned in the past 15 years. This one product has made me dedicated to Kerrits.
