Ambassador: SAYLOR BOSS
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you?
I love your apparel and have many of your products in my collection! I feel like being an ambassador would get me more involved in the equine world. Even before I was old enough to pick my own riding clothes my parents chose Kerrits because of how they looked and the many compliments I had on my apparel. I have gotten many other riders at our barn hooked on your brand already and I know they love the products too! I absolutely love the Kerrits logo wich makes them that much more fun to wear. Becoming an ambassador would mean helping and informing people with and by my riding. As I believe more should shop Kerrits I would love to help promote it!
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador?
I love to compete but also have a strong bond with the horses I do show. Horsemanship is a practice that I strongly believe in. Some day I want to take my knowledge and help other people learn to ride so they can have the same opportunities as I've had.
Not only do I love the showing but my trainer has taught me very well of horsemanship. My passions include being close to the horse as your life literally rests on their shoulders. Brushing, feeding, exercising, grazing, and cleaning everything is a big part of what I believe the steps to have the acceptable bond with your horse is. We do not use grooms because that takes away from everything we have been taught. Although the showing is fun and all I have come to understand how having a relationship with your horse tops any blue ribbon.
What is your connection to Kerrits?
Before I could canter a horse I was wearing Kerrits and have been ever since! Other people loved them also! I became interested in your products when I received a pair of breeches and jacket for Christmas. What really attracted me to your products were how durable and comfortable the breeches were. As I am training a green horse they have been through a lot. As the other pairs of riding pants I have begin to fray and become scratchy with use. My parents know Kerrits is my favorite horse brand and 90% of my Christmas list is made up of equestrian wants.
