Ambassador: TATIANA PEREZ-MOJICA
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you?
It means that I will be able to support an amazing brand that is comfortable and affordable for all types of riders. I am currently 20 years old and have been riding in english tack for the past five years. I have always been in love with these amazing creatures but unfortunately could never really afford to have a life around them. It was just five years ago that I began to work at the barn I ride at now. With the amazing support of my boss and my family I began to gain enough money to be able to lease my very first horse. This changed my life forever. As of now I currently go to college as a full time student and work as a barn manager part time every week. It is with this determination and hard work that has currently allowed me to full lease an amazing gelding that is teaching me the ropes in Eventing. I want to be an ambassador in order to help represent the ones that feel like they cannot do it. I want to be an ambassador in order to show people that anything is possible as long as you put your mind into it and work hard.
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador?
My long term goal as a rider is to become a high level Eventer with my own Eventing barn for boarding and training while showing off how much fun and great the Kerrits brand is.
What is your connection to Kerrits?
Kerrits pants was really the only thing I could afford when I first began to ride. I remember taking lessons in sweat pants and some worn down tennis shoes. It was not until I began to take riding seriously that I went out to look for some appropriate riding apparel to buy. Everything at the tack shop looked too over priced for some quality and looks that didn't even look that great. I was beginning to get discouraged until I ran into the Kerrits Flow Rise Performance Riding Tights. The quality, fit, look and even price seemed reasonable to me. I left the store feeling as if I bought something that would fit and last me forever, five years later, after several lessons and tedious barn work the pants feel and look like the day I first bought
