Ambassador: VANESSA SACCOMANI
What does being a Kerrits Ambassador mean to you?
I'd be proud to promote a brand that is not only fashionable and durable but also actively participates in environmentally friendly innitaitves, such as using recycled boxes and not purchasing water bottles. Horses are my life and passion but I also understand that this dream can not happen without a stable environment. Therefore, Kerrits goes above the call of duty by provided excellent products with an Eco-conscience framework. I'd be proud to become an ambassador for a company with such values.
What are your passions as a rider and ambassador?
My passion for riding started in the womb and blossomed throughout the years. I'm coming into the last months of university (Graduating with a degree in Communications, honors) and then moving to BC to train on my families farm, Deep Creek Warmbloods. The ambition and drive that I have is ever growing as I fall more I love with the sport. I wish to become a working student under Kathrine Maxwell, participate in multiple clinics, compete in Rising Stars (in Vancouver) and other competitions. My passion is training and developing horses, as the progression is so rewarding.
Therefore, transitioning into becoming an ambasidor would allow me to advertise this amazing brand via my Instagram account (17.4K and growing: Vanessa.saccomani) and help spread, not only my passion of riding, but of Kerrits core-competencies. A brand that hold recognition for their actions all while providing beautiful apparel for the riders that are functional and durable. Spreading the good news as it were!
What is your connection to Kerrits?
My first experience was when I layer my eyes on these amazing plum full seat breeches. They were so comfortable, flexible and breathable; which is a necessity for Ottawa's humidity, I intently knew that I needed a pair. So much so that I ordered the exact same pair in gray from the US. I also then went into purchasing a beautiful black vest (I have a slight obsession with vests) as well as a turtle neck.
However, the thing that I love about the company is the fact that they provide carrots and he emphasis of being Green. Myself I follow a plant based diet, 3 years March 11th, and try to follow the vegan lifestyle as much as possible (hard to avoid leather products in the Equestrian world) for the purpose of reducing my environmental foot print and living a healthier lifestyle. I have a strong connection with the environment and wish to seek a carrier in which to help the planet. Being a company that promotes these values is essential for me, it is why I love Kerrits above all!
