This is a nice looking jacket. The body is quilted and there are stretch panels on the side and under the arms. The hood is great for bad weather. To be honest it's not as warm or windproof as I expectedly due to the stretch panels.
It kept me warm in 40 degree weather with a layer under. Any colder and I'd add multiple layers.
I'd size up if you want to layer. I bought the small which fit perfectly but too small for a sweatshirt underneath. The medium is great though

I went up a size and glad I did. This is fairly nice, basic mid weight jacket which I paired with a half fleece zip and a vest. I miss the detailed designs from previous seasons. This one does the job but it’s not as nice of fabric or embellishments (stitching / pattern) as ones from past seasons. Given the economy pricing was fair for quality. Would buy again.
