I just love this coat. I have been riding with it as well as working with my horse. It is so warm. It also blocks the wind really well!! It is a little bit large and I can put fleece underneath comfortably.

Classy, warm, comfy (nice soft collar, long sleeves so you can bend your elbow) BUT:
1. the pockets for your hands have a VERY small opening. I am an adult and I feel like something was cut here...why can't the hand openings to the pockets be large enough to put your hands in comfortably? The zipper scratches and if you have even lightweight gloves on...forget it! This is a winter coat, why the teeny pocket openings???
2. the zipper. UGH. You have to "tease" it up and down every single time you put it on. Even done slowly the fabric inside the coat catches in the zipper. Heaven forbid I have to get OUT of the coat quickly in some kind of emergency --- I won't be able to. I have to feed the fabric away from the zipper so the zipper will slide.
3. hood is for a midget head. Just barely covers my head (without a helmet of course). There is no point in having a cinch-able hood when there isn't enough hood to cinch once you have it on your head.
I can't help but think all the above problems with the coat were to CUT COST of production. But they were immediately noticed and frowned upon. The fact that I have been through 4 coats and finally found this one in January --- well I will keep it because I need the winter protection.

It is warm, fits great. The only thing I would like to see is bigger pockets, as my oversize cell phone barely fits in the pockets. Also would like an inside pocket

Great jacket for the price. I would say it runs on the big side but means you can wear sweaters and vests underneath if you need. It’s quite warm.
