My Riding Background

I grew up riding locally, and at 15, I became a working student and started riding and showing more competitively, going to HITS and WEF. After college, I worked for a cowboy starting babies and helping problem horses. I’ve been working with Lauren Schweppe at Meadowood Farm since 2019.

Why I Love Riding

My favorite part about the sport is developing young horses and being able to watch them succeed with their next owners. Sometimes it’s watching their owners show them for the first time in the 2’ hunters and other times it’s cheering them on in the Grand Prix in Wellington! Both make me so happy!

A Horse That Impacted Me

A horse that really impacted my riding was Flips. He was an old soul and really gave me a lot of confidence and experience at the bigger jumps. As professionals, we spend so much time making sure our horses and our clients’ horses are prepared and confident, and it was neat to have a horse that helped me so much. Sadly, he passed away in 2023, but the skills and confidence he gave me still transfer to all my horses.
