Comfortable, practical boots!
I needed a new pair of boots after my Ariats disgracefully committed seppuku. I took a good long time to find a pair that fit my expectations:
Comfortable, well lasting, waterproof, good ankle support, and no zippers. Why does every pair of nice shoes have zippers?
These meet all of those criteria. (Except maybe long lasting, I haven’t had them long enough to know. I have it on good authority that I shouldn’t have any problems though, and they definitely look/feel sturdy)
Nice materials, comfortable lining, and I love the easy laces. They’re wide enough for my feet, and don’t look wonky.
They aren’t as pretty as a nice pair of paddock boots, but that’s definitely not my highest priority.
Note:
I always buy a size down in “outside people shoes,” 9 instead of 10. In that way, they run true to size. If you’re expecting “normal people shoes,” don’t. Go a size down, the industry standard for outdoor shoes is about one size smaller than average, across the board.
