These half chaps offer a connection that’s superior to leather, with soft, supple GripTek™ stretch. After just a few rides they'll hug your leg perfectly for a custom fit. Classically cut lines with off-center side zip and generously sized stretch elastic panel. Zip on. Zip off. GripTek™ provides a secure “stick-like-glue” grip

Not for me but the Kerrits team is awesome!

These chaps didn’t work for me. They looks good and material feels great but I found the material starting to rub after one ride. I decided to return for something else. I still gave 4 stars because the kerrits customer service team is the best! They are responsive and so helpful. I’m very grateful they allowed me to return.

Grippy and comfortable

Very nice chaps. Fit great and look good. They have a nice grippy inside and feel like they should hold up well.

Durable breathable half-chaps

I have used these half-chaps for years. For me, the materials have been about as durable as a pair of leather suede half-chaps. But, the zippers and snaps have been far superior, lasting much longer than the suede ones I have owned in a number of different brands. I am short with a very athletic build - full, well-defined calf muscles and thin ankles. I always need the shortest with the biggest calf diameter. This chaps are tight to begin with and after some use the elastic insert relaxes a bit causing the perfect fit. I purchase a new pair when the synthetic material touching the horse on the inside of the calf begins to peel away. It is amazing that the zippers and snaps outlast the material because I live in a dry, super dusty environment.
