Elevation Insulated Winter Equestrian Jacket

I'm 5' tall, 100 pounds and often wear an XS but ordered a S in order to have room for layers. The coat fits me perfectly with all my layers underneath. It seems very warm but so far the weather hasn't dropped below freezing so will see how it does when the really cold weather gets here. I love the pockets, the drawstring in the back that gives it a shapely feminine look, the high collar and inside the ends of the sleeves that keep the cold air out. The sleeves are slightly too long for me but I just turned them up an inch and they are fine. Since my barn jackets get quite the barn smell, I'm thinking about ordering a second one to wear when I'm going to stay clean.

I’m 5’4” 163# I carry my weight in my middle. Size L fits me with a bit of room for a vest under if I needed it. When you unzip the back to ride there is even more room. I needed something very warm yet light .. where I live it gets extremely cold haven’t tested it it super low temps yet.. but am hopeful as it’s very warm with temps in the mid 20’s.

I am always looking for clothing I can wear both teaching clinics as well as riding and teaching at my home base, and I was really pleased to get to try this new Insulated Winter Jacket from Kerrits. The length is perfect, even on my smaller frame, and I'm really looking forward to packing this jacket to take to clinics with me, as I often travel to quite cold areas!

I bought the plaid jacket in a medium. I weight about 170 lbs, my low hip measures 43 inches and my chest measures 38. I originally bought a large and it fit appropriately and it was extra roomy however I like a little bit snugger fit so I sized down to a medium and I LOVE IT. With the back zipper and inner cinch feature on the back, I am able to get a very custom fit. Even in the medium, I still have plenty of room to wear a primaloft vest underneath and warmer base layers if I need them. This jacket is quite puffy and I think it will be very warm this winter. I love the the thumbhole sleeve feature also. It's just a really nice coat - I love the roomy pockets - so great! The plaid is so beautiful and classic. The exchange through the mail was super fast and easy! They got my replacement out immediately. Great company!

It’s still too warm to wear yet, but the coat appears to be well made. I love the length. It will provide a little more protection from the wind.
