Cool, good looks at a great price

I’m so glad I purchased this coat. My first Prix St. Georges was on a hot summer morning and I really wanted to wear a coat for a good impression and good keepsake photos. It looked great. It does not have the same heaviness and drape of a more traditional fabric but I’m willing to live with that because of the price and comfort.

Love this coat, but one suggestion….

This coat is amazing! It looks great, has wonderful stretch and breathability, and is so lightweight it almost doesn’t even feel like it’s there. It makes me look very professional, and the XL size is long enough for my 6’1” frame. Just one suggestion, if I may? I do wish it came with either reversible points or a second pair. I love yellow or plaid points and the plain black, while appropriate for Dressage, aren’t quite flashy enough for Hunters or Equitation. Again, just a suggestion.

proportions

Same kind of fabric as the Aero show coat I got last season, I am sure it will breathe as well. No buttons on the sleeve cuffs, but most people have to hem Kerrit's sleeves shorter, so it makes that easier. I'm 5'6", and I think the tails hit about right - haven't tried it in the saddle yet. Obviously at this price point the tails are not leather lined, I suspect they may float up more than traditionalists would like. I might sew weights in. My one serious quibble is that I am a plus size, and the buttons on the double breast of the coat are the exact same 3 inches apart that they are on a size 6. It looks weird. The buttons should be 1/4 to 1/2" wider apart as you go up in sizes to maintain the double-breasted coat proportions.
