Packed these as my one pair of trail bottoms for a camping trip in the Cascades. We were doing 4-6 mile days with elevation, setting up and breaking down camp, scrambling over some rocky sections. The fabric held up to all of it, and the flat seams meant no chafing even on the longer days. The cargo pockets sat flush enough that they didn't snag on brush, but were easy to get in and out of on the move. The waistband is wide and supportive in a way that actually felt good with a loaded pack. Will absolutely be my go-to for every trip going forward.

I've tried a lot of hiking tights and they always disappoint on storage. Either the pockets are too small, or they bounce around, or there's just one sad zipper pocket and nothing else. These are different. I carry my phone, sunscreen, a snack, my car key, and a small multi-tool on most hikes, and everything has a place. The hidden back pockets with the elastic loops are genius for small gear. The fabric moves well, doesn't feel hot, and the waistband hasn't budged once on longer climbs. I'm buying a second pair.
