Future Folk Supply Co.
IN OREGON, USA
"Our story began a long time ago, in a land far away....well, not that far away. We were both born and raised in Texas and met while we were in college. Everyday after has been an adventure. We spent ten years in Colorado before landing in the Pacific Northwest. We have two daughters, June and Wylie and a dog named Paco. We are delighted to claim Hood River, OR. as our home.
We are inspired by nature, motorcycles, good food, tattoos, music, art, yoga, snowboarding, our friends and family, camping, dancing and traveling.
We created Future Folk Supply Co. with the idea of wanting better, not more. The goods we make have our love, hopes and dreams in them. We believe in solid craftsmanship, having a sense of humor and spreading a little magic. Our goal is to create one of a kind products that will stand the test of time."

Abrazo Style
IN CHIAPAS, MEXICO
"I started Abrazo Style while living with my family in a small village outside the city of Oaxaca, Mexico. We moved there for "a year abroad" to study Spanish and to experience a different way of life. I had no idea our lives would be fundamentally changed by the beauty, the culture, and the challenges of living there. One year extended into two, two into three, and in our fourth year, I met Martha. She was standing by the side of a dirt road in our village. I offered her a ride, and, well, the rest is history. Though the most culturally diverse and artistically rich state in Mexico, Oaxaca ranks as the second poorest in the country with an extreme poverty rate of 76%. Martha is part of that statistic. She is poor and struggles to provide for her family, but is motivated to create a better life. I discovered she knew how to sew and offered to hire her for some embroidery work, which I then sold to friends in the States. Six years later, we now regularly employ nearly 100 artisans in both Oaxaca and Chiapas. With Abrazo Style providing the training and opportunity, our artisans grow in skills, confidence and resources. Martha, and many others like her, are my eternal inspiration.
When people ask me how I became involved in 'the clothing business,' I have to laugh. Really, it was serendipity. And, Abrazo Style is so much more than just clothing. It is the people, the relationships, and the stories behind our products that 'make' the company."

Luscious Jewelry PDX
IN OREGON, USA
"Luscious Jewelry is woman (and dog) owned and made in the USA. The goal of Luscious is really to provide a quality product that is designed and produced in the USA, is affordable and also offer pieces that range from being pretty to offbeat.
It is truly a thrill when people not only choose to purchase Luscious for themselves, but buy it as gifts. After over 25 years in this business (boy that makes me feel old) I love to hear people tell me how much their friend/relative enjoyed receiving a piece of jewelry I designed.
Luscious is primarily made by other moms, that needed some additional income. I have been so fortunate to find some amazing people to produce my line, and in turn they are happy to have the flexibility and income. From time to time I also use teenage kids who ask me for money, no hand outs in this house!
I work with a wonderful charity called “Project Lemonade”, which is an agency that opens a “Free Store”, each summer to kids (in Oregon) that are in the foster care system, so that when they are getting ready to go back to school, they have some new things to wear. You can google them, the work they do makes me so happy, my favorite part is when I work the store and get to see the kids get their stuff, what an awesome feeling.
And of course animals. I have rescued animals my entire life and wish I could have more, It is heartbreaking that so many animals are put to death each year because of overpopulation, so please consider the adoption option when looking for a pet, you won’t be disappointed."
